Employee Statistics
The headcount at December 31, 2012 was 37,338 employees, including the acquisition of 1,259 employees at the Voronezh, Russia plant and of 928 employees at the Campneus, Brazil plant and Dackia, Sweden plant.
Pirelli Tyre headcount is characterized by a strong international presence both on a manufacturing and commercial level, with a significant portion in Central and South America (37,4%) and in Europe (41,8%), while MEA/Asia-Pacific and North America represent 18% and 9,2% respectively of total labour force.
The overall change in employees in 2012 was characterized by substantial growth.
